Within 24 hours after enrollment, your Physician Case Manager, speaking in your language, calls you to understand your medical condition.
Based on your condition, your Physician Case Manager identifies and seeks professional medical opinions from the experts around the globe.
You receive a personalized report in your language with global medical experts’ opinions^. Your Physician Case Manager also calls to explain the report and answer any questions you may have.
if overseas treatment is needed
If you wish to seek treatment overseas, your Physician Case Manager will provide overseas specialist options* for you to choose as your treating specialist.
Your Physician Case Manager speaks to your selected specialist and arranges the appointment and translation service for you to ensure a seamless treatment journey.
Your Physician Case Manager calls to follow-up with you after your treatment and provides you support and guidance on your recovery.
Real Life Story
Based on experience, in about 60% of the Global Expert Medical Opinion cases, the experts have recommended alternative treatments to replace the invasive ones such as surgery and drug injections. One of the real-life cases is illustrated below.
- Ms. Xia, 58 years old, suffered from knee pain that was increasingly hard to cope with. She even could not sleep due to the pain.
- As a first attempt to remediate her knee problem, she went through a series of acupuncture therapy. However, no improvement was observed and her pain persisted. She then made a visit to an orthopedist who recommended her to have an arthroscopic surgery to cure her cartilage problem.
- Ms. Xia wondered whether surgery was the only option she got.

Applicable medical conditions:
Any non-emergency medical conditions, examples are cancer, gastroenteric diseases and orthopaedic issues that may require a second opinion are applicable, while the following are excluded: accidents, medical emergencies, urgent/life-threatening conditions, daily or common medical issues such as colds, fever, flu and occasional rashes, or chronic diseases management such as chronic hepatitis, diabetes and high blood pressure. However, any complications of chronic diseases shall be applicable.
